Serenity is the ideal spot for a romantic getaway for two or a cozy family retreat for up to 4 guests.

Serenity has a loft upstairs with a queen size log bed, with premium sheets and cozy quilts, and a new full-size sleeper sofa in the living room (bedding not provided).

Please be advised that access to the loft is a pull-down ladder, not suitable for guests with limited mobility or small children.

There is a bathroom with shower on the main floor.

Living room has Roku TV (no DVD, no cable). There is also WiFi internet. A brand new sleeper sofa was just purchased in 2020.

Serenity is equipped with a cozy wood-burning fireplace. Wood is provided for the wood stove during winter months, but please bring your own fire starter. Heat is primarily by wood stove, so please be comfortable with starting and maintaining a fire, especially during colder months.

Firewood is provided for indoor wood stove from Oct-May, but fire starter/matches/kindling are NOT PROVIDED. Please bring your own fire starter (newspaper/kindling/matches) or a commercial fire starter such as 'Strike a Fire'. These items are also available for purchase as a reservation add on and in Ashford.

To light, make sure damper is open for maximal air flow. Our wood stoves burn hot, so don't over-fill with wood or you will be TOO WARM.

Serenity has a small kitchen that has everything you need to prepare a great meal! We'll keep it stocked for you so you can just bring the big stuff! You will find a range, coffee maker, microwave, blender and plenty of pots and pans to cook all your meals with.

​Outside is a private deck with gas BBQ, table and chairs, and a wonderful campfire pit. Firewood and firestarter are not provided.

The private covered hot tub is a great place to melt away the strain of a long hike or relax and unwind. There is a bird feeder and deer feeder so you will always have wildlife to visit with!​ Deer feed can be purchased at the time of your reservation.
